Have you joined in on the latest craze? Or are you like me and you never outgrew coloring as you got older? “Adult” coloring books are flying off of store shelves as more and more people re-discover the joy and relaxation that can be found while coloring. Now before your imagination runs wild with the word “adult,” all I am referring to are the coloring books designed specifically for adults. Their images are far more detailed than childrens’ coloring books with many intricate details. Coloring has become a popular way to unwind and to relieve stress over the past few years. It is a great way to exercise your fine motor skills and can even help you train your brain to focus in today’s world of constant distractions. One of the best things about coloring in that there is no right or wrong. Simply choose a book that appeals to you and color it however you like! I definitely have my fair share of both adult and childrens’ coloring books, as well as an extensive array of crayons, colored pencils, and markers. With all the different “high-end” brands of coloring instruments out there, I’ll let you in on a little secret… I LOVE Crayola. Where does it say that you need fancy colored pencils to enjoy the benefits of coloring? No matter what you choose, pick crayons, colored pencils, and/ or markers that you like, that are comfortable to hold, and that you are happy with. So what do you think? Will you be picking up a coloring book soon? Check out some of the free, printable coloring pages I found online by following Emmy’s Crafty Corner on Pinterest! |

AuthorTo put it mildly, I LOVE crafting! The only problem is that I don't fancy just one specific type of craft, I love it all. With this in mind, I've decided to keep a running chronicle of projects and, hopefully, inspire someone else along the way. Categories
